Let's Catch Up + Check In!

It’s been a little while since I’ve sat down to share an update here, and I’m genuinely so excited to be back in this space.

If you’ve been following along on social media or have worked with me recently—thank you for your support, patience, and continued love for this little corner of the world I get to call my business.

A LOT has happened behind the scenes, and it feels like the perfect time to officially catch up.

If you’re searching for a Cleveland wedding photographer or Chicago wedding photographer, this season has been one of the most meaningful yet—and I’m so excited to share what’s been going on.



1. Wed Society Cleveland ft. Victoria G. Photography!

One of the biggest recent updates—I’m so excited to now be a part of the Wed Society Cleveland + NE Ohio Chapter!

Wed Society  is basically a curated wedding community and publication here in Cleveland + NE Ohio that features real weddings, vendors, and all the inspiration couples are looking for while planning. Being included in their first magazine launch feels like such a full-circle, exciting moment for my business.

Even more exciting, I’ll be featured in their very first magazine launch this month. Being included in such a beautifully curated publication alongside so many talented wedding vendors in the Northeast Ohio area is truly an honor.

I’m also looking forward to attending their sunset book launch party—one of those moments that feels like a real celebration of the NE Ohio wedding community and this next chapter in business.

2.Wedding Season Is in Full Swing in CLE + Chi Town

Wedding season is officially in full swing, and I couldn’t be happier about it.

From Cleveland weddings to Chicago engagement sessions and everything in between, this season has been filled with:

  • emotional ceremonies

  • candid, documentary-style moments

  • golden hour portraits

  • packed dance floors

  • and so many unforgettable stories

  • and a lot of cute little black outfits!


As a Cleveland and Chicago wedding photographer, this is truly the heart of what I do—preserving moments exactly as they unfold.


3. 6 Years of Victoria G. Photography

This May also marked 6 years of Victoria G. Photography, and I honestly can’t believe how far this journey has come. What started as a creative passion has grown into a full-time wedding and portrait photography business rooted in storytelling, connection, and intentional imagery.

From Cleveland to Chicago to destination weddings, every couple and every session has shaped this business in ways I’ll never take for granted.

Six years in, and I still feel just as excited (if not more) every time I pick up my camera.


4. A New Season of Showing Up

With all of these changes, I’m stepping into a renewed season of visibility and consistency in my business.

I’m making it my mission to be more active with:

  • Blog content (like this one!)

  • TikTok storytelling

  • Instagram updates + reels

  • Behind-the-scenes wedding content

There are so many recent weddings, engagement sessions, and creative projects I can’t wait to share.

I've also started to offer a few new things to elevate my couples and client's experience with me.

  • Polaroids as an add-on to all wedding packages

  • Albums + Print shop has been revamped and updated to maximize my potential to offer the best hierlooms for your photos and favorite memories

  • A little love and additional discount to couples hosting their big day at venues listed on my wedding venue bucket list.

5. Personal Update… I Got Engaged!

And finally—the biggest life update of all—I got engaged! (Scroll to see some of my favorite

On June 2nd, an innocent date night turned into an incredible memory. We were at dinner in Chicago where we then took an Uber to Northerly Island, hiked up a suspicious hill, and then something crazy happened. It's been over a month and I'm still in shock. As we celebrate nine years of our relationship, we also got to celebrate a little something extra too.

It’s such a joyful, grounding, and exciting season of life. Experiencing engagement personally while also photographing so many couples in this chapter has been incredibly meaningful.

It’s given me a deeper appreciation for what it feels like to be in this season—every decision, every emotion, every fleeting moment that makes it so special.

(And yes… wedding planning content may or may not be coming soon.)


6. Currently Booking

I’m currently booking:

  • 2026–2027 weddings

  • Engagement sessions

  • Couples + portrait sessions

  • Branding sessions for creatives and small businesses
