James and Prisca’s engagement session in Downtown Chicago was the perfect blend of city energy and soft, romantic moments.
We started around Millennium Park, where the city skyline and architecture created such an iconic Chicago feel. From there, we made our way through Grant Park, letting the light shift with us as the evening went on.
What I loved most about this session was how effortless everything felt between them—no stiff posing, just the two of them existing in their own little world while the city moved around them.
James and Prisca have such a calm, grounding energy together. You can tell how much they genuinely enjoy simply being in each other’s presence, and that always translates so beautifully in photos.
They’re getting married this August, and after spending this time with them, I already know their wedding day is going to be full of so much joy, movement, and celebration. I’m so excited to be there to document it all. Their downtown chic wedding is going to be such a fun way to wind down the summer and I'm counting down the days until then!
